Docket Social

Terms of Service

Last updated: September 2026

1. Acceptance of terms

By creating an account or otherwise using Docket Social (the “Service”), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. What the Service does

Docket Social helps you discover, customize, schedule, and publish short-form video content to connected social media accounts (currently TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube). Some content shown in the Service is AI-assisted or drawn from third-party stock media libraries.

3. Your account

You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate information when signing up and must be legally able to enter into these terms.

4. Connected social accounts

When you connect a TikTok, Instagram, or YouTube account, you authorize Docket Social to access that account (via that platform's own login) and to publish content on your behalf, limited to the permissions you grant during that login. You're solely responsible for content published to your connected accounts, and for complying with each platform's own terms of service and community guidelines. You can disconnect any account at any time from your Accounts page.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to publish unlawful, infringing, or harmful content; to impersonate any person or entity; to interfere with the Service's operation; or to attempt to access accounts or data that aren't yours.

6. Content ownership

You retain rights to content you create, upload, or customize through the Service. Stock media and AI-suggested captions provided within the Service are licensed for use through the Service under the terms of our media providers; you're responsible for confirming a license fits your intended use before publishing.

7. Subscriptions and billing

Paid plans renew automatically for the billing period you select until cancelled. You can change or cancel your plan at any time from Settings; changes take effect at the start of the next billing period unless stated otherwise.

8. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or that we reasonably believe pose a risk to the Service or other users.

9. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Docket Social is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including any action taken by a third-party platform (such as TikTok, Instagram, or YouTube) against your connected account.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after an update means you accept the revised terms.
